What equipment do you need to fence?
There are a few things to consider when buying fencing equipment.
Requirements change depending on the age of the fencer and if they compete or not. Please refer to the table below and contact us if you have any question.
Where can you buy all the equipment?
Fencing equipment cannot be bought in regular sport shops, we are lucky to have a few fencing shops in the area where you can go and try. You can also buy online when you refer to the suppliers sizing guides.

​You can buy second hand but make sure it's in good condition - no holes and tears, elastics and straps still sewed on, etc - and that it complies with safety standards. You'll find second hand equipment on eBay and sometimes Facebook markeplace/groups.
